St. James is led by the vestry who are elected from among the membership of a
congregation. Their responsibilities are to help define, articulate and insure support
of the mission of the congregation and the larger church.
The Vestry meets monthly to address:
- strategic concerns
- planning
- budgeting
- policy making
- ministry concerns
The Rector (Senior Pastor), provides oversight for the Vestry. The Vestry meets
together in council and then members work individually with the ministry staff or
other church leaders to carry out initiatives and directives.
