Digital Ministry is a team that formed and evolved during COVID-19 when we were unable to hold in-person worship services. This ministry is now an active, vibrant group that consults with clergy and provides service options for our parishioners! The team meets as needed.

In addition to preparing our online and streamed worship services, the team developed and maintains the St. James website, works with other Arizona parishes in developing their digital/streaming technologies, maintains our music licensing process and provides technical/digital solutions for special events. If you are interested in joining and/or learning more about this exciting ministry, please contact the church office at office@stjamestempe.org or (480)345-2686.

UTO Grant

The Digital Ministry Team implemented a United Thank Offering (UTO) grant in 2021 with the following scope:

Provided video production equipment to nineteen parishes throughout the Diocese of Arizona. It enabled parishes to stream worship services, perform pastoral care and outreach and stream special events via the internet to members who were restricted from attending in-person due to COVID-19 and longer term to our large retirement population.

What follows are a few photos as we progressed through the UTO Grant Fund implementation journey.
