Digital Ministry is a team that evolved during COVID-19 when we were unable to hold in-person worship services. This ministry is now an active, vibrant group that consults with clergy and provides service options for our parishioners! The team meets each week on Thursday evening at 7pm.

In addition to preparing our online and streamed worship services, the team developed and maintains the St. James website, works with other Arizona parishes in developing their digital/streaming technologies through a UTO grant received this fall, maintains our music licensing process and provides technical/digital solutions for special events. If you are interested in joining and/or learning more about this exciting ministry, please contact the church office at or (480)345-2686.

UTO Grant

The Digital Ministry Team prepared and received a United Thank Offering (UTO) grant in the fall of 2020 with the following scope:

To provide video production equipment to nineteen parishes throughout Arizona. It will enable parishes to stream worship services, perform pastoral care and outreach and stream special events via the internet to members who are restricted from attending in-person due to COVID-19 and longer term to our parish’s large retirement population.

Equipment was received in later December and installations have started. What follows are a few photos as we progress through the UTO Grant Fund implementation journey.
