St. James is a welcoming and inclusive church where all can enter, worship and get involved. 

For over 35 years, St. James Church has been serving the communities of Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Maricopa and Ahwatukee. We offer both traditional and contemporary worship styles and use the Book of Common Prayer as the foundation for our worship. We proudly display our Progress Pride flag; we believe that God loves all – no exceptions.

Welcome to St. James! Please join us for a Eucharist Rite II Worship Service every Sunday at 9:30am. Details about this service are listed in our weekly bulletin. As of April 7, 2022, face masks are no longer required when visiting St. James or attending worship. But of course, you are welcome to wear a mask if you choose. Whatever decision you make about face masks, please respect the decisions that others make. Whatever decision each person makes and whenever they choose to make it, is entirely their own and will be respected.
