Within St. James
The youth of St. James participate in several outreach and social projects throughout the year:
- Provide ministry to the homeless and to others less fortunate in our community by assembling hygiene bags for distribution.
- Make crafts for sale to the congregation to help raise funds for Angel Tree families.
- At Christmas, use the funds to help purchase gifts, clothing and food boxes for children and families with incarcerated parents.
- Assemble meals to be sent overseas to countries that are struggling with famine.
- Walk in the annual UMOM Walk to End Homelessness.
