Add St. James to your Calendar
You can add the St James calendar to your Google Calendar:
- Click on the ‘+’ next to ‘Other Calendars’ in the left hand sidebar
- Choose ‘Subscribe to calendar’
- Enter ‘stjamestempecalendar@gmail.com’ as the Calendar name
Upcoming Events/Items of Interest
- Ladies Night Out. On the second Tuesday of every month, at 6 p.m. We meet for food and fellowship. See details in our e-newsletter.
- Book Conversations: Lent, summertime, and Advent, at 5 p.m. at St. James. We gather for conversation around theological books. Our current book is: “Restoring the Woven Cord: Strands of Celtic Christianity for the church today”; By Michael Mitton.
- Taizé Service. The last Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. A meditative, peaceful series of simple sung verses, prayers, and a short reading.
- Education for Ministry. Please join our group meeting in the St. James library on Monday evenings, 6:30 to 9 p.m. For more information, please contact Mary Jane Porter, mjp4@cornell.edu.
- Little Free Library. You can contribute by dropping off books at the church office.
- First Fruits Sunday. On the first Sunday of every month, we collect non-perishable food items to help St. Stephen’s feed our hungry neighbors.
- UMOM Walk to End Homelessness. Register as an individual or as a team. For more information, visit www.umom.org/walk
- Ladies Tea. Saturday, June 1 from 2-4pm. Tickets will go on sale soon – $15 per person.
- Dinner and celebration of Mardi Gras: Sunday, February 11, 2024. More details to come!
