Deacon Robin was ordained in 2012 and since 2015 serves as the Director of Deacon Formation for the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona.
Deacon Robin supports worship through the Acolyte ministry, Lenten programs, pastoral care, outreach, social justice, and digital ministry and began at St. James in 1991. Active in the Diocese, she serves on the Standing Committee, Anti-Racism Committee and is a Deputy to General Convention in 2021. She holds certificates as a Preaching Fellow from Virginia Theological Seminary and the Diocese’s Best Skills/Best Churches Training.
As a vocational deacon, Deacon Robin has worked in Fortune 200 global companies and currently leads a management consultancy providing services focused on leadership and economic workforce development for local youth-centered non-profit organizations. She earned her doctorate from University of Pennsylvania in work-based learning leadership and a MBA from University of Southern California. She and her husband Roy, have two adult children; Donald, a Navy veteran, and Whitney, a sustainability program director in London, UK. Roy and Deacon Robin live in Ahwatukee along with their two dogs, Junior and Scruffy.
